Our higher chakras are our connections to our truth, our intuition and our spirit being. The heart chakra - sometimes also referred as being the “bridge chakra” and located in the centre of our chest - acts as a channel to filter the base energy through the loving heart centre into the higher chakras with love and ease. This unites our physical being with our spiritual higher being.

Our first 3 chakras - also called the "lower chakras" - are connected to our basic needs and emotions: Our root chakra (also called “Muladhara") provides grounding, reliability and stability in life. The sacral chakra - or "Svadhisthana" - holds, among other things, the drive to procreate, but also feelings such as self-esteem. Finally, the solar plexus chakra, the "Manipura" chakra, is where our ability to position and assert ourselves in this world resides.
