Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Here we have compiled answers to the most common questions and help with the most common issues.

Have you already tried our keyword search?

If your title does not appear in the results, it may be that it has not yet been added to the Inner Lotus Music Store. We try to add the new titles a few months after their release on YouTube.

If you still can't find your desired title, please send us a short message via our contact form and we will make sure that we add the title to our store as soon as possible.

It can happen in very rare cases (so far about 3 in 1000) that Shopify sends a broken link. Unfortunately, we have no control over this, as this is an automated process of Shopify. But don't worry, this problem can be easily solved: Please send us a short message via the contact form and we will send you a new link manually as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, Apple does not allow direct downloading of music to iOS devices like iPhones or iPads. However, there are two ways to save your music files on your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Save your music to the files folder of your iPhone or iPad so that you can access and play it at any time (even offline). This can be done in 4 easy steps. You will find our 4-step guide here.
  2. If you want your music in your native Apple Music app, download your music to a computer and then sync to your device in order to transfer the file.

Your file has not yet been downloaded or has not been downloaded completely. Please make sure that the file has been downloaded completely before you save it. Due to the size of the music file (up to 5GB!), this may take several minutes, depending on the speed of your internet connection.

Cancellation is of course possible. We will also send you back any money you have already paid immediately. The prerequisite is that the file has not yet been downloaded. After a successful download, the file is considered delivered and the purchase is completed in accordance with our GTC. Unfortunately, a cancellation or refund is no longer possible from this point on.

If your ordered file has not yet been downloaded, please contact us via the contact form and we’ll do the necessary to cancel the order and/or get you a refund.

On iOS devices like iPhone or iPad:

To open a .zip file on your iPhone, launch the Files app, locate the .zip file, and tap on it. A folder will be created containing the files, which you can then access.

If you have an Android device:

  1. Download the .zip file.
  2. In your downloads folder, tap on the .zip file to open it, and press Extract. (*)
  3. Unzip the file to your Downloads folder, and then move the unzipped music to the Music folder in your phone’s file system.
  4. Open Play Music and listen to your tunes.

If these instructions don’t work, you may need to download to a computer first, then sync to your device in order to transfer the files.

(*) If the .zip file won’t open, you’re going to need a file management app, like Files by Google or something similar. If you don’t have an app installed that can handle .zip files, your phone may refuse to complete the download at all.

Unfortunately no. Making CDs has become totally unprofitable these days. In other words, if we were to make a CD of a music title, we would have to sell it at such a high price that it wouldn't be worth it for you at all. But you can easily burn any music file you've purchased and downloaded from our shop onto a CD for personal use.

No. Our music is copyright protected and has a content ID on YouTube. Using our music in a public YouTube video will be detected and flagged, and your video will be removed. If it happens repeatedly, it will lead to your channel being deleted.

See "What can I use your music for, what not?"

You can use our music for personal use. This includes among other things:

  • Playing it privately (for you, your family, close friends, etc.)
  • Playing it in therapies, treatments, lectures, workshops, etc. that you conduct with a maximum of 30 participants
  • Burning it onto a CD or another storage medium for personal use

What's not allowed among other things:

  • Public performance (concerts, festivals, etc., as well as through media like radio, TV, streaming, etc.)
  • Duplication, distribution, sale
  • Uploading (e.g., on websites, streaming platforms, sales portals, forums, social media, databases, etc.)
  • Using it as background music for YouTube videos
  • Using it as background music for guided meditations that are publicly broadcasted and/or distributed.

These are just a few of the most commonly requested uses. You can find complete information about using our music in our GTC.
